Introduction

Maa Ramachandi Foundation (MRF) is a national level development organization that works in most backward areas of all districts of Odisha on priority. Being registered under the Trust Act of 1888 in Bhubaneswar, it functions from Bhubaneswar with its extended branch offices in different locations of Odisha. Since its inception it has primarily focused on community based development with approaches of community participation, community based organization building and community empowerment. Ten members belonging to different occupations constitute the governing body of the Trust to look into the effective functioning of the Trust for which it was established.
